Opinions on the extent of EU control over animal welfare in the Netherlands 2019
This statistic displays the results of a survey of opinions regarding the extent of the European Union's control with regard to animal welfare in the Netherlands in 2019. As part of this survey, participants were asked whether they felt that the EU should have more or less of a say over animal rights. 36 percent of respondents thought the EU's control in this area should be increased, suggesting that over a third of people in the Netherlands would like to see the EU with more control when it comes to animal welfare, while close to 40 percent of respondents thought that the EU's influence over this issue should remain as it was.
