Construction costs of Solidarity Transport Hub in Poland 2019
The construction cost of the Solidarity Transport Hub (Polish: Centralny Port Komunikacyjny) has so far been estimated at approximately 35 billion zloty. Out of this, 16-19 billion zloty were to be spent on the airport itself, 8-9 billion zloty on the new Warszawa-Łódź railway line and a link to the Central Rail Line, while the remaining 7 billion was to be spent on road investments. During the summer holidays, the government announced that the establishment of the Solidarity Transport Hub would result in the construction or renovation of 1,300 km of railway lines in the whole country, which would consume an additional 40 billion zloty. The actual construction of the Solidarity Transport Hub in Poland is planned to start in 2022.
