Italy: opinions on impact on the environment as an individual 2019

In 2019, 90 percent of respondents in Italy believed they could make a real impact on the protection of the environment as individuals. More specifically, 44 percent stated to completely agree on the significant influence that a single person could have on the environment, whereas 46 percent moderately agreed.
Discussions about climate change and its consequences are rising, also due to Greta Thunberg's speech at UNO. In September 2019, the majority of Italians believed that climate change was a real emergency.
