In April 2020, the most common difficulty among Russians due to measures introduced to tackle the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) was inability to go outside or for a walk, which was closely followed by a shortage of medical masks, gloves, and hand sanitizers. Financial difficulties and absence of work were mentioned by only five and two percent of respondents respectively, making them currently the least common societal problems due to the restrictive measures.
