Metaverse related tweeters on Twitter in South Africa 2022, by gender
Between 2021 and 2022, the majority of tweeters on Twitter writing metaverse-related tweets in South Africa were men. Indeed, 74 percent of the metaverse-related tweets had men authors, while the remaining 26 percent were tweeted by women. In that period, there were 98,000 metaverse related South African mentions on Twitter.
