Brexit: potential import tariff changes in the UK 2016, by country and product type
There are currently no tariffs on imports entering the UK from EU countries. The UK is also part of the EU's Generalized Scheme of Preferences (GSP), which allows importers of goods from developing countries to pay reduced duty fees when importing to the EU. In addition to this, the UK is subject to a number of other bilateral agreements negotiated by the EU, which set tariffs for trade with certain countries.
