Share of digital advertising expenditure by media industry India 2022, by format
In 2022, online videos re-emerged as the media format with the highest share, that is 35 percent, of digital advertising expenditure incurred by India's media and entertainment industry. Meanwhile spending on social media declined by 10 share points and was at par with paid search ad expenditure. Classifieds did not account for any share of media ad spends that year.
