This statistic shows the year-on-year percentage variation of revenue generated through the sales of prescription drugs in Italy between 2017 and 2018, by pharmacy size. Overall, the sales of medication available only on prescription experienced a fall, which was more significant for medium and small size pharmacies, than for large businesses. The revenues of medium size pharmacies decreased by 3.7 percent.
