Social mobility index on work opportunities in Ghana 2020, by component
In 2020, Ghana registered an overall score of 69.1 in the social mobility index on work opportunities, ranking 48th in the world. The highest points were achieved in terms of unemployment in rural areas, at 91.2 points. Furthermore, the work opportunities sub-scores were lowest when considering unemployment among the labor force with intermediate education and workers in vulnerable employment, as they reached 69.6 points and zero points, respectively. On a scale from zero to 100, higher scores mean that a particular economy provides equal opportunities for social advancement.
