Value of cocoa beans exported from Africa 2010-2021, by country
In 2021, Cote d'Ivoire and Ghana were the leading exporters of cocoa beans in Africa. The countries exported the agricultural product in a value of about 4.13 billion and 1.56 billion U.S. dollars, respectively. Cameroon, Nigeria, and Uganda were other main exporters in the continent. On the whole, Africa is a key player in the global cocoa market.
