Share of e-commerce users in Portugal 2023, by region
In 2023, Lisbon ranked first considering the share of e-commerce customers, measuring at over 51 percent. The southern region of Algarve had a slightly higher share of e-commerce users than the national total average. The regions with the lowest e-commerce penetration could be found in the islands belonging to Portugal where the Autonomous Region of Madeira presented the lowest proportion of users with about 37 percent of the respondents.
