Distribution of room nights sold of accommodations in Cape Town 2023, by type
In October 2023, the domestic market had the highest share in room nights sold of accommodations in Cape Town in South Africa. Approximately 28 percent of the room nights were sold to South Africans traveling for business purposes, whereas over 25 percent did so for leisure reasons. Additionally, around 32 percent of the room nights were sold to international tourists (both business and leisure).
