Preference of pay TV vs. video streaming in the U.S. 2023, by age group
According to a March 2023 survey, older people from the U.S. were the more they preferred cable and satellite TV over streaming platforms, with over half of respondents aged 60 years and older preferring pay TV boxes. By contrast, nearly three in four consumers aged 18 to 24 years preferred streaming services.
