From 2020 to 2022, pure play beauty e-commerce sales increased in the United States. The sales increased from 2.3 billion U.S. dollars in 2020 to 3.3 billion U.S. dollars in 2021, and continued to increase until 2022, when the sales reached 3.5 billion dollars. The sales from the multi-level marketing varied a bit more over the course of the three years, initially increasing from 1.8 billion in 2020 to two billion in 2021, and then decreasing to 1.5 billion in 2022.
