JR Central operating revenue in Japan FY 2013-2022
In the fiscal year 2022, the operating revenue of Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central) amounted to approximately 1.4 trillion Japanese yen, up from about 0.94 trillion yen in the previous fiscal year. Furthermore, the company forecast revenue of 1.57 trillion yen for fiscal 2023, which would still fall below the pre-pandemic level. JR Central is one of the seven railway companies in Japan, formerly belonging to the state-owned company Japan National Railways. It primarily serves the Chubu region on Japan's main island Honshu.
