Most likely situations when people would evacuate during a disaster in Japan 2019
According to a survey conducted on people's evacuation behavior during disasters in Japan in October 2019, 73.8 percent of respondents stated that they would evacuate when they felt in danger due to the situation of their surroundings. Since Japan is situated in an area where several tectonic plates meet, the country is vulnerable to natural disasters like earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions.
