Value of merchandise exports in Kenya 2020, by product group
Food items corresponded to nearly 46 percent of total earnings with merchandise exports in Kenya as of 2020. That year, the country earned roughly 2.8 billion U.S. dollars with exports of food and live animals, beverages and tobacco, oils seeds and oleaginous fruits, and animal and vegetable oils, fats and waxes. Other 764 million U.S. dollars derived from exported agricultural raw materials. On the other hand, manufactured goods generated nearly 1.6 billion U.S. dollars in exports.
