This statistic shows the percentage of adults in the U.S. with depression from 2013 to 2016, by family income level and gender. During this period, around 19.8 percent of women with a family income less than 100 percent the federal poverty line had depression, compared to 4.8 percent of women at or above 400 percent the federal poverty line.
