Participants were asked to indicate how often, if at all, they use their mobile phone when talking to family or friends. According to data published by Deloitte, roughly a quarter of mobile phone users who took part in the survey never used their mobile phone while in conversation with family or friends. A similar number of respondents sometimes used their phone while talking to family or friends, whereas less than five percent always did so.
