Primary energy supply value in India FY 2017 by fuel

In fiscal year of 2017, the value of primary energy supply by coal across India was the highest, at approximately 525 thousand kiloton of oil equivalent. The share of coal accounted for 64 percent, while, the contribution of crude oil was 31 percent during that time period.

The toe is sometimes used for large amounts of energy.
