Attitudes to diversity in Hollywood U.S. 2019, by age

This statistic shows the public opinion on whether Hollywood creators should make an effort to be more diverse when it comes to casting in the United States as of July 2019, broken down by age group. The findings reveal that 44 percent of all surveyed U.S. adults believed that Hollywood creators should make more of an effort to be more diverse in terms of casting. The largest share of adults who felt this way were those in the 25-34 year old age bracket, where 60 percent said they agreed that Hollywood should be more diverse.
