Enterprise value to earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EV/EBITDA) is a ratio calculated to estimate the value of a company. When used to measure industries, valuation multiples can have a wide variation. Areas of higher growth can be expected to have a higher EV/EBITDA ratio. Between the beginning of 2018 and the end of 2019, the average EV/EBITDA value of mergers and acquisitions of real estate companies in Europe, the middle East and Africa (EMEA) had a multiple of 21.3.
