COVID-19: share hospitalized with and without underlying conditons by age U.S. 2020

It was estimated that around 65 percent of those aged 70 to 79 years with an underlying health condition who had COVID-19 in the United States from January 22 to May 30, 2020 were hospitalized. Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 are much higher among those with underlying health conditions such as cardiovascular disease, chronic lung disease, or diabetes. This statistic shows the percentage of people in the U.S. who had COVID-19 from January 22 to May 30, 2020, with and without underlying health conditions, who were hospitalized, by age.
