Total value of health insurance frauds in France 2005-2018
In a challenging economic context, the French National Health Insurance system must guarantee access to quality health care for all. In order to do so, it must ensure the proper use of the resources allocated to finance our health care system. However, as illustrated by this graph, the total value of fraud detected, among various actors, by the French National Health Insurance has been increasing for several years. For instance, the anti-fraud actions in 2018 have made it possible to detect and stop 261,2 million euros worth of losses.
