Italy: preferred social media to follow museums 2020

According to a survey published in 2020, Facebook was the most popular social media among Italians to follow museums, galleries, and similar cultural institutions online. About six in ten respondents claimed to use this social medium to check the online content published by such cultural institutions. Moreover, YouTube was slightly more popular than Instagram, while just six percent of interviewees claimed to followed museums on TikTok.
