Number of people living with dementia in Germany 2018-2050
In Germany, over 348 thousand people aged between 80 and 84 years were living with dementia in 2018, this number was forecast to rise to over 550 thousand by the year 2050. Dementia is a symptom of Alzheimer's disease, a progressive neurological disorder generally associated with aging explaining the rise in people living with dementia as age advances.
