Willingness to boycott theaters on writers’ and actor’s unions call in the U.S. 2023
In a recent survey, people in the United States were asked if they would boycott movie theaters if writers' and actors' unions called for it. The survey found that 44 percent of respondents said they are either very or somewhat likely to boycott the big screen upon request. Meanwhile, 23 percent and 16 percent of consumers stated that they are not or not at all likely to boycott movie theaters.
