According to a survey conducted in August 2023, above 70 percent of Indian respondents shared that the implementation of the Universal Civil Code (UCC) will assist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) electorally. BJP is one of the major Indian political parties in India that is also the ruling party in India as of August 2023.
