Since 1990, carbon dioxide emissions attributable to accommodation and food services oscillated, peaking at approximately 3.7 million metric tons in 2000. Between 1990 and 2018, figures increased by 92.2 thousand metric tons. In 2018, accommodation and food services carbon dioxide emissions amounted to 2.9 million metric tons.
