Orano's number of employees 2011-2023

Orano had some 19,776 employees at the end of 2022, which amounted to a 0.5 percent increase in staff members compared to the previous year.

Formerly known as Areva, Orano was created in 2017 as a result of recapitalizing and restructuring of the company. Orano SA is a French energy company, and one of the largest uranium producers worldwide.
