Types of support helpful to providers of unpaid care in the UK 2016
This graph shows the types of support available and accessed by unpaid care providers who struggle financially in the United Kingdom (UK) as of 2016. Nearly half of all respondents stated that they have access to practical equipment such as hoists, grab rails and easy grip handles, which can be installed in the house of the person they care for. Further 29 percent of respondents declared that they received extra support from care workers as well as from family and friends.
