Annual market share of selected grocery retailers in Norway 2013-2016
This statistic shows the annual market share of selected grocery retailers in Norway from 2013 to 2016. During the whole period of time, the Norwegian grocery wholesaling group Norgesgruppen which also runs various retail outlets ranked first in each year. The market share of Norgesgruppen increased from 39.3 percent in 2013 to 42.3 percent in 2016. The market share of the retail chain Bunnpris was lowest - it grew from only 3.6 percent in 2013 to 3.9 percent in 2016. Coop grew its market share over the years, with the biggest rise in 2015, when the cooperative bought the retailer ICA.
