This statistic displays the distribution of the types of ownership of clubs in the major football leagues in Europe in 2016. In 2016, approximately 19 percent of the clubs in the 13 major European football leagues were owned by foreign parties. UEFA is the administrative body for the union of the national football associations in Europe. In 2015/2016, UEFA registered a total revenue of 4.6 billion euro.
