Practices of finding health information electronically in US hospitals 2015
This statistic shows the percentage of U.S. non-federal acute care hospitals and office-based physicians that utilized electronic query to find patient information outside of their health systems as of 2015. According to the data, 52 percent of hospitals used electronic query to find patient data from external sources, compared to just 34 percent of physicians.
