Italy: estimated and actual perception of women's abuse by partner 2018, by gender
This statistic presents the result of a survey on women experiencing physical and/or sexual violence by a current or former partner or spouse in Italy as of 2018, broken down by gender. According to data published by Ipsos, male interviewees estimated that 33 percent of Italian women experienced violence by a current or former partner, whereas the actual share was 19 percent.
