Disadvantages of smart homes in Italy 2018

This statistic shows the results of a survey asking owners of home automation systems about the disadvantages of having a smart house in Italy in December 2018. According to data, 51 percent of respondents declared that the high costs of the automation systems were the main disadvantage of a smart home, whereas 40 percent of interviewees considered the need to carry out renovation and installation works as the main drawback of choosing home automation. However, nine percent of automation system owners did not see any disadvantage in smart houses.
