Mobile 4G base station total number in China 2014-2023
As of the end of 2023, the number of mobile 4G base stations in China amounted to 6.3 million. 4G base stations account for the largest share, however, the development of 5G infrastructure progresses rapidly. In 2023, Chinese telecommunication providers added over one million 5g base stations.
