The statistic displays the results of a survey question asking whether shoppers from different age groups preferred to buy beauty products and personal care from big or local brands in 2018. The survey results show that as of 2018, the majority of respondents across all age groups preferred to purchase personal care and beauty products from international brands. The share of 18 to 24 year olds surveyed who preferred international brands when it came to personal care and beauty was highest, at roughly 70 percent, whereas just below ten percent of respondents in this age group preferred to buy local or national brands.
