Share of Russians who want an electronic passport in 2019, by age
The survey results showed that the young population of Russia was more open to an electronic passport than the elderly in 2019. While 41 percent of the respondents aged between 18 and 24 years wanted to get an electronic identification document, the population over 60 years old saw it rather negatively, with 67 percent not willing to obtain one.
