Age at first internet access in Portugal 2022, by gender
In 2022, the majority of young women in Portugal, namely almost 61 percent, declared having started to use the internet when they were between 10 and 14 years old. A high share of men, specifically 44 percent, started to use the internet sooner, before 10 years old, while 48 percent of them also initiated internet usage between 10 and 14 years of age.
