Presidential election turnout in Russia 1991-2024
presidential election held in the country from March 15 to 17, 2024. In several regions of the country, the voting was available online, for the first time in a presidential election in Russia. In 2024, the voter turnout was the highest over the observed period, having exceeded that of the June 1991 election of the president of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR) won by Boris Yeltsin. The winner of the 2024 election was the incumbent President Vladimir Putin.
Over 77 percent of the Russian population participated in the
