Canadian businesses proactive in their attitude to fraud or scams 2017, by industry

The statistic presents the results of a survey among business owners in Canada in relation to cyber crime. As of January 2017, 61 percent of responding Canadian retail business owners said they described themselves as proactive in their attitude towards fraud or scams, indicating that they had policies and procedures in place to prevent, detect and deal with fraud and scams. The same was true for 74 percent of businesses in the financial services sector.
